The Kentucky Rails to Trails Council is a not-for-profit corporation, whose mission is to enhance the quality of life in our communities by developing a state wide rail/trail program. Kentucky Rails to Trials Council works with local organizations to develop greenways and trails, and as a clearinghouse for project funding, design and management of trail systems. KRTC also seeks to increase public awareness of greenway and rail/trail multi benefits.
